IN THE GARDEN
Fruits and vegetables galore! That’s what’s in the garden…
We have a strong commitment to growing only open pollinated fruits and vegetables at Maggie Mae Farm. We grow everything naturally, using our resources conscientiously and husbanding soil health at every turn. Using cover crops, our own chemical/antibiotic free manures and compost, crop rotation, companion planting and beneficial insects we create a sustainable system for growing. We grow hardy, disease resistant heirloom varieties and never use petro-chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers, promising you the safest, tastiest food we are able to grow.
We believe that variety is the key to our growing success, and variety is the name of the game! We grow beets, beans, broccoli, cabbages, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, herbs, kale, lettuce, melons, onions, oriental greens, peas, peppers, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, spinach, summer squashes, tomatoes, winter squashes, and more!
