For Everything There is a Season

Dear Friends of Maggie Mae Farm.

To everything there is a season. All things sprout, grow, flower and fruit. And eventually they complete the cycle and die, making way for new things to grow.

Now is the time for Maggie Mae Farm to make way for new things. Over the years it has been our pleasure to help feed our community, both in the Lakes Region and in more recent years in Southern NH. We’ve had the opportunity to teach and learn, and the honor to contribute to the local food movement. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of that. Thank you for being an important part of it as well.

It is with heavy hearts that we leave the farm in Chester, each to go our separate ways. Miss Church left behind such a beautiful legacy, and in only a few short years we grew to love it well. We wish the next stewards, whoever they may be, the best of luck.

For those of you who are interested in following Glenn’s agricultural pursuits as he relocates to Belmont, NH, feel free to contact him directly at:

For me the next Chapter is yet unwritten, but I’m looking forward to see where the journey goes from here.

Thank you all for your support over the years. Safe travels to you all.

Many of us followed you not for the food, but because of your wonderful writing, and the stories you have beautifully shared. I’m glad to find you’re still writing. I’ll follow you through this winding, twisting, tangled road of life. Thank you for sharing yours.
